Referral
An enquiry is made by a school, local authority, professional, parent or carer.
Information Gathering
We learn more about the young person's education, needs, strengths, interests and intended outcomes.
Introduction to Vibe
Where appropriate, the learner can visit the provision, meet the team and become familiar with the environment.
Starting Point
Initial assessment helps identify current knowledge, support requirements and appropriate goals.
Programme
The learner begins an agreed programme of vocational learning and personal development.
Review
Progress is monitored through practical work, assessment, attendance, engagement and individual targets.
Achievement
Learners work towards their agreed qualification and wider outcomes.
Next Steps
Planning focuses on a suitable progression route, which could include college, further vocational training, an apprenticeship or employment.
Structure & Consistency
A Typical Day
Vibe operates Monday to Friday.
9:00am – 12:00pm
Morning Session
12:30pm – 3:30pm
Afternoon Session
Sessions are structured around the needs of the programme and may include:
Check-in → Theory → Demonstration → Practical Work → Break → Skills Development → Review
This provides learners with consistency while allowing activities to vary according to the qualification and stage of learning.
How We View Progress
Progress is not measured by one outcome alone.
For one learner, success may mean completing a recognised qualification.
For another, an important milestone may be improving attendance, communicating confidently with others or completing a task independently.
We look at development across areas such as:
